Project Update

GUIDE-AI Consortium Convenes for Kick-Off Meeting

Representatives from all partner institutions gathered to officially launch GUIDE-AI, align on project objectives, establish working group structures, and plan the first year of activities.

The kick-off marked the formal start of collaborative work across the seven work packages. Partners exchanged introductions, confirmed roles, and agreed on communication and reporting channels.

GUIDE-AI Receives Funding from the Innovative Health Initiative

The IHI Joint Undertaking has awarded GUIDE-AI funding under IHI Call 9 (Grant Agreement No. 101253015), recognising the project's potential to transform navigational AI for guideline adherence across European health systems.

The IHI JU is a public-private partnership supporting large-scale collaborative research to accelerate development of health innovations in Europe.

Introducing GUIDE-AI: Intelligent Guideline Navigators for Chronic Disease Management

An introduction to the GUIDE-AI project — its scientific vision, the clinical problem it addresses, the role of large language models in guideline navigation, and how the European consortium will tackle this challenge over four years.

GUIDE-AI targets five chronic disease areas: HFrEF (Heart Failure with reduced Ejection Fraction), CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease), COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), asthma, and IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) as an exploratory focus.
